Drivers Mate Skelmersdale £14.62 per hour (inclusive of holiday) Overtime £19.58 per hour (over 48 hours) Friday to Monday + 1 ad hoc weekday shift Flexible People Ltd are currently recruiting Drivers Mates to join a well-established client based in Skelmersdale, working alongside experienced 7.5t delivery drivers. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable, physically fit and hardworking Drivers Mate looking for regular work with a consistent Friday to Monday working pattern, with an additional ad hoc weekday shift available when required. As a Drivers Mate, you will work alongside the driver to safely and efficiently deliver large items directly to customers'' homes. You will play an important role throughout the delivery process, from preparing for deliveries and keeping customers updated to safely moving and delivering heavy items. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys working as part of a team, is comfortable with physical work and takes pride in providing excellent customer service. The Role As a Drivers Mate, you will assist with the delivery of large items to residential properties, including: Flat-pack furniture Gym equipment White goods Other large and heavy household items This is a physically demanding role involving regular heavy lifting, so a good level of physical fitness is essential.
