Driver / Warehouse Operative Flatbed Transit Van Location: Bacup, LancashirePosition: Full-Time, PermanentHours: 6AM-5PM Monday-Thursday - 40HR WEEKReference: ASPLIVThe Role We are recruiting for a Driver / Warehouse Operative to join a well-established engineering and equipment business based in Bacup.This is a hands-on and physically demanding position, combining driving a flatbed transit van with warehouse, loading/unloading and FLT duties. The successful candidate must be comfortable with manual handling and getting stuck into the physical side of the role.Key Responsibilities Driving a flatbed transit van to complete deliveries and collectionsLoading and unloading vehicles safely and efficientlyOperating an FLT to move materials and equipmentCarrying out regular manual handling and heavy liftingSecuring loads correctly before transportationSupporting goods-in and goods-out activitiesChecking deliveries and ensuring the correct items are loadedAssisting with general warehouse and stores dutiesMoving equipment and materials around the siteCompleting basic delivery and collection paperworkCarrying out basic vehicle checksMaintaining a clean, organised and safe working environmentFollowing all company Health and Safety procedures Requirements Full UK Driving LicencePrevious experience driving a Transit Van / Flatbed Van or similar commercial vehiclePrevious FLT experience Counterbalance preferredExperience within a warehouse, engineering, manufacturing or industrial ..... full job details .....
