Driver Trainer

Our client is a leading fuel delivery company based in Thetford, and they''re looking for a-Driver Trainer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver driver onboarding and ongoing training programs
• Conduct post-accident and incident investigations
• Monitor and improve driver performance, including tachograph and working time compliance
• Provide driver briefings and toolbox talks
• Support traffic office functions, including planning and administration
• Carry out vehicle checks and ensure safety and compliance standards are met
• Provide cover and support in cases of unscheduled driver absence
• Promote best practice in health, safety, and environmental standards

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of transport compliance and regulations
• Excellent planning, organisation, and time management skills
• Good IT skills with the ability to analyse data for reporting
• Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and engage drivers
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining compliance standards
• Experience in managing conflict and fostering a positive team environment

Qualifications & Experience (preferred):

• HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Previous experience as a Driver Trainer
• ADR and PDP qualifications
• Driver CPC
• SAFED, ROSPA, or equivalent training qualification
• Experience in multi-drop or fuel distribution
