This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced driving instructor to join a Learning and Development team, delivering and assessing driver training for operational personnel and support staff. The successful candidate will help ensure that drivers are trained to the required national and organisational standards, supporting the safe operation of emergency service vehicles and other specialist vehicles. Key Duties Plan, deliver and assess theoretical and practical driver training for operational personnel and support staff. Provide instruction and assessments across a range of vehicles, including light vehicles, large goods vehicles, 4x4 vehicles, passenger-carrying vehicles, vehicles with trailers and specialist emergency service vehicles. Deliver training to prepare operational personnel to drive emergency fire appliances and light vehicles under emergency response conditions, as well as supporting non-emergency driver training.
