The Driver Team Leader will be expected to liaise with the onsite Workshop in regard to the maintenance of their vehicle and ensure that the Council’s Health & Safety Regulations are always adhered to. This includes ensuring that their team of Loaders comply with Safe Systems of Work, collecting, transporting and disposing of different types of waste safely and efficiently according to operational and legislative specifications. The Driver Team Leader will ensure that that the necessary uniform and personal protective equipment and clothing is worn by all members of their team as instructed within the relevant procedures.
