Driver / General Assistant

We are seeking a reliable, enthusiastic, and customer-focused Driver / General Assistant to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring that equipment is delivered safely, accurately, and on time while supporting the day-to-day operations of our depot and warehouse. Role Overview As a Driver / General Assistant, you will be responsible for the delivery and collection of surveying and construction equipment to and from customer sites throughout the region. When not carrying out deliveries, you will support the daily operations of the depot by preparing equipment, picking and packing orders, assisting with stock management, and ensuring the warehouse remains safe, organised, and efficient. The successful candidate will be proactive, customer-focused, and safety-conscious, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities Safely deliver and collect equipment to and from customer sites. Conduct daily vehicle inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness. Ensure all deliveries and collections are completed accurately and within agreed timescales.
