HGV Class 1 Driver – Bulk Deliveries
Location - Chirk
Full-time | Permanent | Monday–Friday days (1-2 night away, UK only)

This is one of the better Class 1 jobs in the area. Our client is a well-run, established company that treats drivers properly. The work is bulk deliveries into good, central distribution points across the UK — not chaotic multi-drop, not endless small drops, not a week spent living out of a bag.
Monday to Friday. Days only. No weekends. Early finish on Fridays around 12:00/13:00. Overtime is there if you want it, and it pays time and a half.

The job

• Class 1 bulk deliveries, done safely and professionally
• Help with loading and make sure every load is secure
• Accurate paperwork
• Daily vehicle checks and full compliance
• Professional, courteous contact with customers on site

What you need

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E)
• Current Driver CPC
• Valid digital tachograph card
• Reliable, on time, and proud of the standard you work to
• Happy working independently and dealing with people
• Willing to take short-notice overtime when it comes up

Pay

• Basic: £12.70 per hour
• Overtime: after 37 hours — £19.05 per hour
• Typical overtime: around 13-18 hours a week
• Realistic earnings with overtime: about £40,000 - £44,000
• Night-out: £20 per night (usually 1–2 nights a week) plus meal allowance

Hours

• Roughly 50-55 hours per week, Monday to Friday
• Days only — no weekend work
• Friday finish around 12:00/13:00; traffic dependant
