DraughtspersonLeicester to c 35k neg dep exp + bonus + generous benefits Our client has been established for more than a century and are recognised as global market leaders in the design and manufacture of niche electrical solutions, and as a result of continued success and an ongoing programme of strategic growth, are now seeking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Draughtsperson to complement their professional design team. Based in Enderby in Leicester and reporting to the Senior Design Engineer, the successful Draughtsperson will be responsible for the design and development of electro-mechanical equipment for a range of industrial applications, working to best practices and relevant industry standards in a pivotal role to the business as the design team continue to develop innovative solutions to meet customer specifications, as well as develop and test products for new market applications. Core duties for this varied and challenging Draughtsperson role will include (but not be limited to): Reviewing design requirements and assisting the engineering team with technical aspects of designs including specification of materials.Producing drawings, BOM''s and other design information issued for manufacture.Supporting RandD activities as agreed with the Head of Technical Sales, which may include the design, setting up and running of test equipment, working alongside the lead RandD Engineer.Providing support to Production, helping to resolve issues arising during the ..... full job details .....
