This role involves working closely with clients to interpret and refine their design vision into practical, technical joinery drawings.You will use produce manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks, coordinate materials and production details, and ensure installation requirements are fully considered from the outset. This includes attending site surveys as needed to support accurate design development and installation planning.Draughtsperson - Key ResponsibilitiesManage bespoke joinery projects throughout the design process, from client brief to production handoverTranslate client concepts and architectural drawings into detailed technical joinery drawings using SolidWorksCollaborate with internal designers, production teams, and external stakeholdersConduct and interpret site surveys, identifying key install and build considerationsReview materials, finishes, and manufacturing processes to ensure feasibility and qualityMonitor project timelines, ensuring all deliverables are met on scheduleCommunicate effectively with clients to manage expectations and approvalsDraughtsperson- Required Skills and Experience3–5 years of hands-on experience using SolidWorks for 2D and 3D technical joinery designProven background in a design/project management role within the joinery, fit-out, or manufacturing sectorStrong technical knowledge of bespoke joinery construction and production methodsExcellent communication and client-facing skillsStrong organisational, planning, and problem-solving abilitiesGood understanding of site conditions and installation logisticsDraughtsperson - BenefitsCompetitive salary (dependent on experience)Incentive / Personal development schemePension scheme31 days holiday including bank holidaysOpportunities for professional developmentOpportunity for hybrid working (1-2 days remote per week, depending on project needs)Collaborative and supportive working ..... full job details .....
