DraughtspersonLocation: NottinghamSalary: Up to 16.80ph ( 35k)Hours: Mon-Thu 07:30-16:30, Fri 07:30-13:30Overtime: Time and a half after 40 hoursStart: ASAP A well-established engineering and fabrication business is looking for a Draughtsperson to produce accurate fabrication and assembly drawings for structural steelwork components. This is a hands-on, workshop-facing role where you''ll work closely with engineers, project teams and fabrication/welding teams to ensure designs are production-ready.Key Responsibilities:Produce detailed fabrication drawings for steel structuresCreate 3D and 2D models using Autodesk Advanced SteelGenerate GA drawings, fabrication details, assembly drawings and material schedulesLiaise with design engineers, project managers and workshop teams to deliver the design intentInterpret engineering calculations into production-ready drawingsEnsure drawings meet internal standards and relevant industry requirementsRevise/update drawings based on customer requirements and engineering change requestsProvide technical support during manufacture and support continuous improvement initiativesEssential Experience and Skills:Proven experience as a Draughtsperson or similar role within the fabrication industryStrong Autodesk Advanced Steel experience (essential)Experience producing drawings for welded structures and fabricated assembliesGood understanding of welding symbols, fabrication techniques and engineering drawingsAble to interpret technical ..... full job details .....
