Your role as Draughtsman will focus on producing accurate engineering drawings and supporting the design and manufacturing process. Working closely with production and engineering teams, you will ensure drawings meet customer specifications and provide the information required to manufacture components accurately and efficiently. Day to day functions of the Draughtsman role will include: Producing and amending detailed engineering drawings to meet customer requirements. Creating 2D drawings and, where required, 3D models using CAD software. Interpreting customer drawings, specifications and technical information. Ensuring drawings are accurate, clear and suitable for manufacturing. Supporting the development and modification of components and products. Working closely with production and engineering teams to resolve drawing or manufacturing queries. Making revisions to existing drawings and maintaining accurate documentation.
