Job Title: Draughtsman.
Location: Derby
Rate: Negotiable - -20 to -25 per hour paye
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm (3:30pm finish on Fridays)
Type: Contract - minimum 2 months, likely to be extended
We are looking for a draughtsman to support a busy design team in Derby on a contract basis for at least two months, with a strong likelihood of extension. This role is focused on detailing work rather than concept design.
You''ll be using Autodesk Inventor to produce accurate and well-structured manufacturing drawings for bespoke machinery used in product handling systems. These machines are built for a global customer base, including major blue-chip manufacturers in the biscuit, cookie, and snack food sectors.
Applicants must have solid Inventor experience and a strong understanding of drawing standards and detailing processes.
Key requirements:
Proficient in Autodesk Inventor
Confident in producing detailed drawings
Background in mechanical or machinery-based environments preferred but not necessary.
Able to work independently and communicate effectively with the design team
