Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging Drama lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential for KS5)
Foster a dynamic and inclusive classroom where all students can express themselves
Support pupils in developing performance, devising, and analytical skills
Organise and contribute to school productions, showcases, and enrichment activities
Assess and monitor student progress in line with national curriculum and exam board specifications
Work collaboratively with colleagues within the Expressive Arts department and across the school
What We''re Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching Drama at secondary level
Strong subject knowledge and understanding of curriculum and assessment frameworks
Passion for the performing arts and inspiring young people
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
A valid, enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
