Job Description:
- Deliveringandnbsp;engaging,andnbsp;imaginativeandnbsp;lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential for KS5), includingandnbsp;script work,andnbsp;improvisation, andandnbsp;theatre history
- Planning aandnbsp;broad and inclusive curriculumandnbsp;that promotesandnbsp;confidence,andnbsp;creativity, andandnbsp;collaboration
- Usingandnbsp;formative and summative assessmentandnbsp;to support student progress andandnbsp;personalise learning
- Leading and supportingandnbsp;school productions,andnbsp;drama clubs, andandnbsp;performance showcases
- Collaborating with colleagues to promoteandnbsp;cross-curricular creativityandnbsp;andandnbsp;whole-school engagement
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have experience teaching Drama at secondary level (thoughandnbsp;enthusiastic ECTsandnbsp;are warmly welcomed!)
- Be passionate aboutandnbsp;theatre,andnbsp;performance, andandnbsp;inspiring young talent
- Demonstrate strongandnbsp;classroom managementandnbsp;andandnbsp;differentiation strategies
- Be committed toandnbsp;raising achievementandnbsp;andandnbsp;nurturing student voice
