Supply Desk is seeking an enthusiastic and creative Drama Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. This is a full-time role, starting in September 2025, perfect for a teacher who is passionate about performance, storytelling, and inspiring young minds through the dramatic arts.
We are looking for a qualified and engaging Secondary Drama Teacher with QTS (or equivalent). The ideal candidate will bring energy, innovation, and a commitment to fostering creativity in students across Key Stages 3 to 5.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver imaginative and dynamic drama lessons to secondary students
Create an inclusive and supportive environment that encourages self-expression and confidence
Plan, direct and support school productions, workshops, and performances
Use a variety of teaching methods to suit different learning styles
Work closely with other departments on cross-curricular projects
Track and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback
Engage with students, staff, and families to support the wider school community
Stay current with developments in drama education and actively engage in CPD
Maintain high standards of behaviour, creativity, and professionalism in line with school values
