Drama Teacher

Elite Supply Services are recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and supportive secondary school in Cannock for an enthusiastic and creative Drama Teacher to join their team from October 2026 for a Maternity Leave.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher to inspire students through engaging and dynamic Drama lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. The school has a strong focus on student development, creativity, and high standards of teaching and learning.

The Role

• Deliver high-quality Drama lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
• Plan and prepare engaging schemes of work and assessments
• Encourage creativity, confidence, and participation within the classroom
• Support school productions, performances, and extracurricular activities
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Work collaboratively with the wider Performing Arts department

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching Drama within a UK secondary school
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Passionate about Performing Arts and student achievement
• Ability to motivate and inspire young people
• ECTs and experienced teachers are both encouraged to apply
