Academics are partnered with a fantastic secondary school in the Wakefield area that are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Drama teacher to start on a full time basis from as soon as possible until the end of the academic year. In the schools most recent OFSTED inspection they were rated outstanding in all areas!
We are actively searching for a Drama teacher to share their knowledge and deliver high quality lessons to students across KS3 and KS4 by displaying a good understanding of the Drama curriculum.
As a Drama teacher you will be responsible for the following:
- Contributing towards extracurricular activities such as school productions and Drama clubs.
- Assisting with the student''s progression by supporting them with upcoming exams and assessments.
- Display strong behaviour management and have the ability to control the classroom.
- Planning lessons that will keep the students engaged
For the Drama teacher role you must meet the below requirements:
- Hold a relevant Drama degree
- Must have obtained Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have valid right to work in the UK
- Must have an enhanced DBS on the update service
