One of our well-regarded partner secondary schools in Maidstone are currently looking for a full-time Drama and Performing Arts teacher to cover a long-term placement from September through to December 2025. The role involves teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of ongoing opportunities beyond this placement.
About the Role:
- Full-time teaching role available from September to December 2025
- Teaching Drama and Performing Arts across KS3 and KS4

Weandrsquo;re Looking For:
- A qualified Drama or Performing Arts teacher (QTS or equivalent) with a passion for creative learning
- Someone with the flexibility to work across a range of schools and adapt quickly to new environments
- Excellent classroom management and the ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities
- Teachers looking for either short-term flexibility or longer placements in the Maidstone area
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering engaging, high-quality Drama and Performing Arts lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
- Creating a supportive, inclusive classroom atmosphere
- Working closely with school staff to contribute to the continued success of the Drama department
- Adapting your teaching style to suit different learners and school settings
What Youandrsquo;ll Need:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent overseas qualification
- Experience teaching Drama or Performing Arts in a secondary school setting
- An enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one
- Availability from September 2025 for short- or long-term placements
