Gully/Drainage Operative Position

Vector is currently seeking Gully/Drainage Operatives to join our client, a fast growing drainage contractor, at their depot near Cheshunt.

This will begin on a temporary with a view to permanent employment.

Job Description

In this role, you will work in tandem with an HGV Driver as part of a two-person team. Your primary responsibility will be operating a vacuum hose and jetting equipment to clear roadside drains, ensuring they remain unblocked. This job is physically demanding due to the frequent lifting of drain covers.

Requirements
-

• Previous experience within drainage or highways is desirable but not essential
• Access to personal transportation, as the depot is not easily reachable via public transit.

Shifts

Monday to Friday - 50 hours per week
Day and night shifts available

• Days - 06:00 - 16:00
• Nights - 20:00 - 06:00

Pay

• Days - -13.00 per hour (PAYE)
• Nights - -16.25 per hour (PAYE)-
