Drainage EngineerSalary £41,500 + Overtime at time and a halfManchester and surrounding areas.Full-time Permanent Monday to Friday 50-hour contractThe main purpose of the Drainage Engineer is to work alongside the Lead Drainage Engineer to attend commercial premises, office space, retail, industrial sites, or other good establishments.Salary is dependent on experience, plus overtime, plus progression opportunities, pension, and annual leave.Reporting to the Hiring Manager, your responsibilities will include:Attend reactive emergency call-outs to clear above-ground blockages, including soil stacks, float lines, and small bore pipework. Leak tracing and investigation of above-ground water servicesRepairing leaks on water services in service voids and risers.Removing and replacing small bore waste pipe on pot wash sinks, basins, urinals etcReplacing mixer taps, wash down taps and spray gunsReplacing toilet float lines and stack pipeworkRemoving and installing cast iron soil pipeworkAssisting drainage operatives with cutting in pipe access to support blockage clearance and investigation worksAssisting other plumbing operatives with quoted works which will consist of both small reactive works and large internal above ground drainage replacements.Supporting drainage operatives with internal drain descaling.Using CCTV equipment to support leak investigationTaking water samples to confirm source of leaksSupporting excavation teams with repairs to below-ground water mainsExtensive ..... full job details .....
