Reporting to the Head of Water Capital Delivery, the DPC Delivery Lead / Project Director will play a critical part in enabling the delivery of large scale, long term commercial contracts through the Direct Procurement for Customers model. You will develop appropriate solutions to delivery challenges, from setting out contractual forms, underlying assumptions and evaluation methodologies during procurement through to agreed contractual terms and conditions and acceptance of the projects into operation.Delivery of the Cwm Taf Water Supply Strategy will span AMP8 and into AMP9 and will be the largest and most significant project to be delivered in the water business. A review of options identified an alternative multi-site solution. The Cwm Taf Water Supply Strategy will be delivered through two projects: Project 1 – Build a replacement for Pontsticill WTW at Dan y Castell farm (next to Gurnos Farm) – 100 mld; Project 2 – Expand on land adjacent to Llwynon WTW and abandon Cantref WTW – 80 mld.
