Job Title: DP Accountant - Finance Location: Belfast Salary: £24.59 per hour (£47,304 per annum equivalent) Working Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm Duration: Temporary contract until the end of August 2026 Start Date: ASAP About the Role: On behalf of our client, Apple Recruitment Services are currently recruiting for a Financial Reporting DP Accountant to join a busy Finance team within a public sector organisation based in Newforge. The successful candidate will support the delivery of high-quality financial reporting, governance, and management accounting services, ensuring compliance with HM Treasury and Department of Finance guidance and supporting effective financial management across the organisation. Key Responsibilities: • Preparation of Annual Reports and Accounts in accordance with HM Treasury and Department of Finance guidance, incorporating IFRS • Liaising with internal and external auditors, including the Northern Ireland Audit Office • Analysis and interpretation of financial data • Production of monthly and quarterly management accounting information • Preparation of accurate and timely financial reports for senior management and stakeholders • Management of financial processing functions • Providing professional advice and guidance to support the safeguarding of public funds and ensure regularity, probity, and value for money • Supporting the establishment and maintenance of internal control and governance frameworks • ..... full job details .....
