Downstream Processing Scientist

Talentmark are recruiting for a-Downstream Processing Scientist-to join a company in the animal health and pharmaceutical industry on a contract basis for 6 months. This role is fully site-based in Speke, Merseyside.-

Salary:
From -15.38 to -20.51 ph PAYE
Rates are dependant upon experience

Downstream Processing Scientist-Role:

• Plan and execute laboratory and pilot-scale studies through hands-on experimentation.
• Deliver downstream purification processes to support clinical programs and business milestones.
• Utilise statistical tools-to design, analyse, and interpret complex data sets.
• Provide technical and operational expertise in downstream processing.
• Support the maintenance and readiness of downstream laboratory equipment.

Your Background:

• Hold a relevant scientific degree, or have equivalent working experience.-
• Some previous-experience in biopharmaceutical downstream development or manufacturing.
• Familiarity with a range of techiques/sytems such as the following would be an advantage:-
• FPLC Chromatography (AKTA systems with Unicorn Software)
• Familiarity with GxP Standards.
• Depth Filtration
• Process Scale Up
