Job Title: Door Fitter / Joiner

Location: Wilton (near Malton) – candidates must be able to get themselves to site. Transport from York may be available if required.

Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Door Fitter / Joiner to carry out installation of internal and external doors on site. This role is focused purely on fitting, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• 7:30am – 4:00pm
• 1-hour break
• Overtime available (paid at 1.5x rate, subject to agreement)
• Bank Holiday work is rare

Pay:

• £14.00 – £19.20 per hour (depending on skill and experience)
• Overtime paid at 1.5x rate

Key Responsibilities:

• Measure, prepare, and install doors
• Fit hinges, handles, locks, and other ironmongery
• Ensure accurate fitting and high-quality finish
• Work from drawings and site specifications
• Maintain a clean and safe work area

Requirements:

• Proven experience in door fitting/joinery (installation only)
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Reliable and punctual
• Own transport preferred (or ability to get to site)
