      <description>Location: Birmingham | Salary: &amp;pound;18 - &amp;pound;22/hour | Type: Permanent | Door &amp; Gate Engineer  Multiple locations  Up to -22 per hour depending on experience     Introduction   A multinational automatic door manufacturer is currently going through a period of sustained growth, and therefore is looking to expand its engineering team. The business is looking to increase its headcount by bringing in two multi skilled Engineers to help keep up with client demand due to a surge in contracts across the UK. The package includes a starting rate of up to -22 per hour, a lucrative commission scheme, as well as training and development opportunities.   As a  Door &amp; Gate Engineer , you will be responsible for:   Servicing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of gates/barriers (40%) automatic doors (30%) and industrial doors (30%).  Fault finding on electrical, mechanical, and electronic equipment.  Basic electrical wiring.  Adhering to industry standards such as BS EN 16005 and DHF.  Providing customers with advice and identifying the best solution to their individual requirement.
