Do you want to join a dynamic and diverse team that works to recruit more potential donors for patients in need?We are working with a leading charity that aims to fight blood cancer, and they are looking for a Donor Coordinator to join to help reach their goal of finding a matching donor for every patient.Annual Salary: £34,000Location: West LondonJob Type: Full-time, PermanentAs a Donor Coordinator, you will play a vital part in supporting stem cell donation journeys, working directly with donors, clinicians, and international partners.Day-to-day of the role:Manage high volumes of pre-donation testing requests for stem cell donors.Contact donors via telephone, email, and written communication to guide them through the donation process.Arrange and coordinate blood tests with phlebotomy services, GPs, hospitals, and laboratories.Work closely with physicians to assess donor suitability and eligibility.Educate donors and obtain informed consent with clarity and sensitivity.Liaise with national and international registries and medical partners.Maintain accurate and detailed case notes within internal database systems.Prioritise urgent and time-critical cases effectively.Participate in an on-call rota for evening and weekend cover (paid additionally).Additional Duties:Attend regular supervision, appraisals, and team meetings.Support quality assurance, service improvement, and audit activity.Assist with incident ..... full job details .....
