Overview
Role: Domiciliary Optical Assistant / Trainee Audiology Practitioner (Hybrid role) at Specsavers. Based in and around the Bedfordshire area, providing eye care to vulnerable patients in their own homes. You’ll drive our services to the doorsteps of the nation and support patients with tasks that they wouldn’t be able to do without you, bringing clinical care to the heart of your community.Location notes: Dunstable, Milton Keynes, Northampton and surrounding areas are listed as locations where similar roles are active.Responsibilities
Provide domiciliary eye care and basic tasks for patients in their homes, delivering clinical care and support to improve quality of life.Use available systems and devices (tablet/laptop) to record patient information and manage appointments.Collaborate with an existing team of optical and administrative professionals to deliver consistent service.Work within a car-based role with a car allowance or company car provided.What we’re looking for (Required)
Previous optical experienceFull UK driving licenseDesirable experience
Previous experience in a fast-paced customer-facing environmentExperience in opticsBasic knowledge/experience of optical servicesBe confident using new systems as well as tablet and/or laptopWhat’s on offer
