Domiciliary Care WorkerLocation: SeftonSalary: £13.20 per hour, plus mileage paymentsVacancy Type: Part-time roles availableAs a Care Worker, you will be a valued member of our domiciliary care team, providing person-centred support in clients own homes. You will bring a caring, friendly and compassionate approach to every visit. Comprehensive training and ongoing support will help you reach your full potential.Main Responsibilities Provide care and support to older people, people with mental or physical disabilities, and other individuals living in the community.Deliver personal care and assist with household tasks.Help with shopping for food and other household essentials.Prepare and cook meals.Administer medication when required.Work flexibly on a rota, including some weekends.Work primarily on single care calls, while being willing to undertake occasional double care calls where the needs of the client or service require two care workers. This is primarily a single-care role, and successful applicants will be expected to work independently during the majority of their scheduled calls.However, there will be occasions where a double-care call is required, for example where a client''s care needs involve two care workers for safe moving and handling or other aspects of care.
