Domestic Abuse Perpetrator Worker (North Tyneside)Role: Domestic Abuse Perpetrator PractitionerBased: Home based, with regular travel across North Tyneside to meet clients and attend work-related meetingsContract: PermanentRate: £27,000 £28,000 per annumStart Date: ASAP October 2026Hours: Full time Our client, a national harm reduction charity, is looking to recruit a Domestic Abuse Perpetrator Practitioner to deliver specialist behaviour change interventions to individuals who have used abusive behaviours within intimate or family relationships across North Tyneside.The role will involve a combination of targeted one-to-one interventions, case management and group facilitation, working with individuals to recognise and take responsibility for their behaviour, understand the impact of domestic abuse and develop healthier and safer ways of managing relationships.The postholder will be part of a small specialist team responsible for delivering high-quality perpetrator interventions. You will undertake initial assessments, risk assessments and ongoing reviews, identifying individual needs, risks and suitability for intervention and determining the most appropriate pathway of support.You will work with clients through either structured one-to-one behavioural change interventions or a 24-week group programme.
