Do you have experience supporting people affected by domestic abuse or other complex needs? Join us as a Hospital Independent Domestic Violence Advisor (HIDVA) and play a vital role in providing independent advocacy and specialist support to survivors of domestic abuse within a hospital setting.

This is a highly rewarding role where you'll work directly with survivors from the point of crisis, helping them access the support, protection and practical assistance they need to move towards safety and recovery. You'll manage a complex caseload, carry out risk and needs assessments, develop safety and support plans, and work closely with clinicians, safeguarding teams, the Police, social care and other partner agencies.

We're looking for someone who is empathetic, resilient and able to build trust with people experiencing some of the most challenging circumstances of their lives. You'll need a strong understanding of domestic abuse and safeguarding, confidence working in a multi-agency environment, and the ability to remain calm and focused when managing complex and high-risk situations.

This role is based in Oxford with travel to hospital sites and partner locations across Oxfordshire as required. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.
