JR292 - Domestic Gas OperativeLocation: LondonSalary: Up to £44,487 Per AnnumOverview:First Military Recruitment is working in partnership with our reputable client who is seeking a Domestic Gas Operative to join their team.Duties and Responsibilities: Your main duties will include servicing, general repairs/maintenance, and attending breakdowns of gas appliances and central heating systems at client premises, in accordance with manufacturer s instructions and industry standards.To be competent in fault diagnosis and repair of modern and traditional boilers, and to be able to carry out repairs to central heating systems, including fitting new pumps, motorised valves, radiators and pipework adaptations as necessary.To undertake Power Flushing of heating systems.To ensure the security and correct operation of all work equipment supplied, including vehicles, tools, flue gas analysis meters, and mobile data equipment.To ensure all Certification and Documentation is recorded accurately and in good time.To have a sound knowledge of Customer Care and to possess the ability to deal with potentially impatient or angry tenants while being able to cope with the emotional demands that dealing with such situations may create.To be willing and able to work as part of a team yet demonstrate independent initiative in dealing with situations arising and completing tasks.To communicate effectively with customers when explaining the correct operation of gas appliances and the importance of ..... full job details .....
