Domestic Gas Engineer

Domestic Gas EngineerWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Domestic Gas Engineer to join an established business covering Cambridge and the surrounding areas. The role is predominantly focused on the planned servicing of domestic gas boilers. While the day-to-day workload will primarily consist of servicing, previous boiler breakdown and fault-finding experience is essential, as you will participate in a 1-in-4 week call-out rota. This would suit an experienced Gas Engineer looking for a permanent, predominantly service-based position with consistent Monday-to-Friday hours and the opportunity to earn additional income through call-outs and overtime. The Role Your responsibilities will include:Predominantly carrying out planned servicing of domestic gas boilersCarrying out boiler safety checks as requiredIdentifying faults and any remedial work requiredAttending reactive boiler breakdowns as part of the call-out rotaDiagnosing boiler faults and carrying out repairsEnsuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with current gas regulationsCompleting all relevant job sheets and compliance documentationProviding a professional and customer-focused serviceManaging your workload effectively across Norwich and the surrounding areasParticipating in a 1-in-4 week call-out rota, with additional paymentWhat We''re Looking ForPrevious experience as a Domestic Gas EngineerStrong domestic boiler servicing experiencePrevious domestic boiler breakdown and fault-finding ..... full job details .....
