Domestic Gas Contract Manager
Full Time, Permanent
Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 per year

Overview

An established building services provider delivering mechanical and compliance services to local authorities, social housing providers, NHS organisations and private sector clients is seeking an experienced Domestic Gas Contract Manager.

The role involves managing domestic gas servicing and maintenance contracts, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and in full compliance with statutory regulations while meeting contractual KPIs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day delivery of domestic gas servicing and maintenance contracts.

  • Lead and support engineers and operational staff to achieve performance targets.

  • Ensure compliance with Gas Safe regulations, health & safety legislation and company policies.

  • Monitor contract KPIs and implement improvements where required.

  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, tenants and stakeholders.

  • Manage budgets, resources and schedules to ensure cost-effective delivery.

  • Produce reports and updates for senior management and clients.

  • Oversee subcontractors, ensuring quality, compliance and value for money.

  • Carry out audits, inspections and quality checks.

  • Support tender submissions and identify opportunities for contract growth.

Person Specification

Essential

  • Experience in a Contract Manager, Gas Supervisor or similar role within the domestic gas sector.

  • Strong knowledge of domestic gas servicing and maintenance.

  • Good understanding of health & safety and regulatory compliance.

  • Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.

  • Commercial awareness and experience managing contract performance.

  • IT literate with strong reporting skills.

  • Full UK driving licence.

Desirable

  • Gas Safe qualifications such as CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1

Working Hours

Monday to Friday
08:00 – 17:00 (1 hour unpaid lunch)
