This is a field-based role suited to an engineer who is confident working independently and comfortable dealing with customers in residential settings. Key Responsibilities Attend emergency call-outs and perform diagnostics and repairs on domestic gas and oil-fired appliances (primarily boilers, fires, and heating systems). Carry out annual servicing, landlord safety checks (CP12), and system maintenance. Diagnose and resolve heating and hot water issues quickly and effectively. Undertake minor installation works, including boiler swaps, pipework, and flue replacements. Complete all required documentation including service reports, risk assessments, and Gas Safe certificates via mobile app or paper-based systems. Ensure all work complies with current Gas Safe and OFTEC regulations. Participate in an out-of-hours rota (evenings/weekends).
