Core Responsibilities Conduct Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) in domestic homes. Perform electrical inspections to ensure compliance with current UK wiring regulations (BS 7671). Carry out remedial works following failed or unsatisfactory EICRs. Diagnose electrical faults and complete corrective actions. Document findings using digital reporting tools (laptops/tablets). Liaise with tenants, housing officers, or property managers to ensure smooth access and communication. Required Skills and Qualifications 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671). Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Electrical Installation. 2391 (or 2394/2395) Testing and Inspection qualification and ECS card essential. Strong understanding of domestic electrical systems.
