      <description>Location: Leicester | Salary: &amp;pound;17030/annum | Type: Permanent | Domestic Abuse Refuge Practitioner    Leicester | -17,030 per annum | 25 hours per week    Monday to Friday | 9:00am - 2:00pm | Part-Time   Are you passionate about supporting women and children affected by domestic abuse?  We are recruiting an experienced and compassionate  Domestic Abuse Refuge Practitioner  to join a specialist service in Leicester.  You will provide practical, emotional and culturally sensitive support to women and their children who are experiencing or have experienced domestic abuse, helping them to remain safe, rebuild their confidence and move towards greater independence.   The Role    Provide one-to-one practical and emotional support  Complete referrals, needs assessments and risk assessments  Develop and review individual support and safety plans  Support women with housing, benefits, budgeting and accessing services  Provide advocacy and support with appointments and external agencies  Identify and respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns  Work closely with Social Care, MARAC, housing, healthcare and other professionals  Support residents with move-on accommodation and resettlement  Maintain accurate and confidential case records    What We're Lo...</description>
