Domestic Abuse & Safeguarding Specialist

MMP Consultancy are recruiting for a Domestic Abuse & Safeguarding Specialist on a fixed term basis, in Norfolk.

You will act as the organisation''s subject matter expert for domestic abuse and safeguarding, providing advice, case management support and guidance to operational housing teams. You will work closely with internal teams and external agencies to ensure vulnerable residents receive appropriate support and protection.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage complex domestic abuse and safeguarding cases, ensuring appropriate interventions and support are in place
• Complete risk assessments and safety planning for residents experiencing domestic abuse
• Represent the organisation at MARAC and multi-agency safeguarding meetings
• Provide specialist advice and guidance to housing and neighbourhood teams
• Support the organisation''s commitment to DAHA standards and best practice
• Work closely with local authorities, police and specialist support services
• Deliver training and awareness sessions to colleagues around domestic abuse and safeguarding

Requirements

• Experience managing domestic abuse or safeguarding cases within housing or support services
• Knowledge of safeguarding legislation and domestic abuse frameworks
• Experience working with multi-agency partners such as police, social services and specialist support organisations
• Strong communication and case management skills
• Experience completing risk assessments and safety planning
