The Role: To work as part of the Documentation team preparing and controlling Bills of Lading & associated documentation for containers shipping ex-North American / European ports to destinations worldwide. Key Responsibilities: Processing shipping instructions received from customers. Submitting shipping instructions to shipping line prior to documentation cut-off. Checking B/Ls for accuracy. Amending B/Ls as necessary. Verifying on boards with shipping lines. Processing freight invoices in line with pre-agreed tariffs. Distributing B/Ls to customers and overseas offices.
