Document Controller/Project Manager Assistant

JOB TITLE: Document Controller/Project Manager Assistant MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB: To manage the creation, storage, submission, and approval of internal and subcontractor documentation in line with contractual and project requirements. To support the Project Manager in ensuring successful project delivery. POSITION IN ORGANISATION: Reports to the Project Management Office (PMO) Manager Works in close partnership with a Project Manager SCOPE OF THE ROLE: Oversee the control of all project documentation from internal teams and subcontractors Create and revise documents for customer review and approval Conduct quality control checks to ensure compliance with internal and client document control procedures Contribute to the achievement of departmental and individual targets Participate in continuous improvement initiatives across the department DIMENSIONS and LIMITS OF AUTHORITY: Manages own workload effectively in line with project timelines Communicates directly with customers to resolve risks and opportunities related to documentation QUALIFICATIONS and SKILLS REQUIRED: Minimum of 5 GCSEs (A-C) or equivalent; A-Levels or equivalent are desirable Prior experience in document control within Engineering or Manufacturing is preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and PDF editing software Highly organised with the ability to work independently Strong multitasking skills with the ability to meet deadlines Excellent communication skills, ..... full job details .....
