Document Controller

Document Controller | FEED | Offshore Energy | NorwichI'm currently supporting a specialist offshore engineering organisation in their search for an experienced Document Controller to support the engineering and project delivery of a Minimum Facilities Jacket Platform FEED project based in Norwich.

This role will suit an experienced Document Controller with a strong background in engineering documentation, project document control and supporting multidisciplinary project teams, ideally within the offshore energy or Oil & Gas sector.Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day document control activities including registration, issue, transmittals, comments and revisions
• Maintain the electronic document control system and ensure accurate tracking through the Master Document Register (MDR)
• Review incoming and outgoing documentation for completeness, formatting and compliance with project requirements
• Coordinate document numbering, interdisciplinary checks, approvals and distribution
• Compile and manage Manufacturers Record Books (MRBs) and project data packs
• Manage supplier and procurement documentation, ensuring accurate and timely distribution

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience in a Document Control role within an engineering or project environment
• Experience supporting multidisciplinary Engineering and Project Delivery teams
• Strong knowledge of electronic document control systems and Master Document Registers
• Experience managing document transmittals, revisions, approvals and distribution
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and document accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple documentation priorities within a fast-paced project environment

Desirable:

• Previous experience within Oil & Gas, Offshore Energy or a similar engineering sector
• Experience supporting FEED or detailed design projects
• Experience compiling MRBs and project data packs
• Knowledge of procurement and supplier document control processes
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 requirements

This is an excellent contract opportunity to play a key role in a significant offshore FEED project, supporting a collaborative and experienced multidisciplinary engineering team.
