These documents need to be properly indexed, stored and managed from a security and efficiency perspective as well as to maintain the public record. Many documents currently only exist on one platform and therefore a key part of this role is the transfer of documents from one platform to another and to maintain the minimum set of documents as necessary for the efficient operation of the programme. Document Controller Tasks:Logically arranging documents in a structured manner.Indexing of documentsEnsuring appropriate file naming of documentsVersion control of documentsOperation of the programme retention policiesTransferring all key documentation from system to system.Ensuring documentation is distributed to project team in a timely manner.Removing any documents from the system which are not necessary for the efficient operation of the programme.
