Document Controller

We're proud to partner up with a fast-growing start-up pioneering self-healing concrete technology. Their mission is to build a more sustainable future by extending the lifespan of infrastructure and reducing carbon emissions.
Due to continued growth, they’re looking for a Document & Operations Specialist to join their small but ambitious team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in project and financial support who wants to develop into a broader role with real progression to Operations Manager as the business grows.
What you’ll do:
- Manage company documents, records, and compliance files.
- Support project teams with scheduling, reporting, and meeting coordination.
- Assist with tenders, contract administration, and claims with sponsors.
- Track project budgets and expenses, supporting financial reporting and reconciliations
- Liaise with external partners, suppliers, and contractors.
- Help streamline internal processes as the company scales.
What they’re looking for:
- Experience in administration, document control, or project support (construction, engineering, or related industries ideal).
- Basic accounting/finance skills e.g. project budget tracking, processing invoices, supporting claims or financial reports.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Comfortable managing documentation, compliance, reporting, and financial records.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and keen to learn.
- An interest in sustainability and innovation in construction is a bonus.
What's on Offer:
- Salary: £28,000 – £35,000 depending on experience.
