The role & about the client:
On behalf of our client, ITS Construction Professionals South are recruiting for a Document Controller/ Site Administrator to join a reputable Main Contractor. This role will be based on site and must have proven experience with administration. This position will be based in Portsmouth as an ongoing freelance role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide full administrative support to the site team including document control, meeting coordination and filing
- Be able to keep up with the pace of the project and making sure everything up together to ensure smooth operation workflow
- Act as primary point of contact for all administrative queries on site
- Organise and coordinate site meetings, take minutes and distribute actions
- Ensuring documents meet requirements and required standards
- Ensure confidentiality and security of documents
- Coordinate meetings by taking minutes and circulating agendas
- Liaise with contractors and head office for documentation needed
- Ensure effective communication flow
- Ensure documentation complies with project standards
- Assist with site access control- ID cards, gate passes and work permits
- Proven experience in an Administrative position
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise workload effectively
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Proficient software knowledge in Microsoft apps
- Happy to be site based
- Ability to work in a fast paced site environment.
