Document Controller

A leading Tier 1 Main Contractor is seeking an experienced Document Controller to join their growing project team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile construction projects with one of the industry''s most respected contractors.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years'' experience as a Document Controller within the build, fit-out, or Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) sectors, supporting project teams in the management, control, and distribution of project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all project documentation and correspondence through the company''s document management systems.
• Ensure documents are accurately controlled, filed, and distributed to internal teams, clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Maintain drawing registers and track revisions.
• Upload, issue, and archive drawings, technical submissions, RFIs, and project records.
• Monitor documentation workflows to ensure contractual and project deadlines are met.
• Support project teams with document control processes and procedures.
• Produce regular reports on document status and outstanding actions.
• Ensure compliance with company quality management systems and project-specific requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years'' experience as a Document Controller within the construction sector.
• Previous experience working for a Main Contractor, Fit-Out Contractor, or Mechanical & Electrical Contractor.
• Strong knowledge of document management systems such as Asite, Aconex, Viewpoint, BIM 360, or similar platforms.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced project environment.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
