for a 12-month maternity cover. This is a high-profile leadership role within a fast-paced services group, working closely with a demanding but ambitious Managing Director, you’ll provide commercial challenge, strategic insight, and financial leadership to drive profitable growth.Company

As
Divisional Finance Director,
you’ll take the lead on providing financial insight and strategic support to divisional leadership, ensuring the delivery of strong financial performance. This is not a back-office role - you’ll be embedded in the commercial decision-making process, working alongside the MDs to influence strategy and operational outcomes.Key responsibilities include:Acting as a trusted partner to the divisional MD, providing financial challenge and commercial insightLeading on forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning across multiple business linesSupporting strategic initiatives, pricing decisions, and new business opportunitiesDriving performance management through clear reporting, KPIs, and commentaryWorking with the CFO and Group finance to ensure consistency and alignment with group strategyProviding leadership and development to divisional finance teamsSupporting MandA activity, investment appraisals, and integration projects as requiredPerson
We’re looking for a proven senior finance leader with a track record of partnering with operational leaders in a complex, multi-site environment. You’ll be commercially minded, strategic in outlook, and comfortable balancing detail with the bigger picture.A well-rounded candidate would ideally offer:A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)Significant post-qualified experience in a senior finance leadership roleStrong business partnering skills and credibility with operational leadersExperience of working in a PE-backed or highly commercial environment (preferred)Excellent communication and influencing skillsThe ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding but rewarding cultureOffer
