Diving Travel Consultant

Platinum Travel Recruitment are seeking an experienced Travel Consultant to work remotely for a dynamic and forward thinking travel company. The ideal Travel Consultant shall be working closely with other colleagues to put together complex itineraries and quotes for both individual and group travellers. You will also coordinate with our clients admin team to provide a top-drawer customer service throughout all elements of the client’s holiday.

Travel Consultant - Duties:

• Creating and selling itineraries for a wide range of destinations from the sun drenched shores of Bahamas to the untamed beauty of South Africa.

• Liasing with clients by phone, email and sometimes in person.

• Generating sales leads, building itineraries and quotes, and following up with clients to refine itineraries.

• Updating client and product information on our system.

• Liaising with admin department to ensure all aspects of the booking process are completed.

Travel Consultant - Essential Requirements:

• Travel sales experience in an ATOL-bonded Tour Operator (group sales experience preferred).

• Strong IT skills.

• Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.

• Remote working happy to come for a connection visit twice a month - expenses paid.

• Passion for diving holidays.
