Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Distribution Planner. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing supply chain activities, ensuring efficient logistics operations, and supporting overall management functions. Duties

• Answering inbound calls and providing assistance to customers and drivers
• Supporting drivers on the road with real-time guidance
• Liaising with customer service colleagues to ensure smooth operations
• Responding to emails and managing communication effectively
• Arranging same-day specials and handling urgent requests
• Planning and optimising distribution routes for the following day

Qualifications

• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Experience in a planning or coordination role is an advantage
• A proactive and problem-solving approach
• Strong geographical knowledge of the-South West region (essential)
• Experience planning-multi-drop routes or driver schedules
• Ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced logistics environment
