Distribution ManagerOur client is a leading wholesaler and distributor of consumer goods, supplying retailers, convenience stores, forecourts, and independent businesses across the UK.Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Distribution Manager to lead warehouse and distribution operations, ensuring high levels of service, efficiency, and operational performance.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee all warehouse operations, including goods-in, storage, stock control, picking, packing, and dispatch.Ensure inventory accuracy and compliance with audit requirements.Manage distribution activities to achieve on-time deliveries and excellent customer service.Lead, motivate, and develop warehouse teams.Drive health and safety compliance and operational best practice.Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.Monitor performance through WMS and key operational KPIs.About YouProven experience in warehouse, logistics, or distribution management.Strong leadership and people management skills.Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).Good understanding of inventory control and warehouse operations.Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.Continuous improvement experience (Lean/Six Sigma) would be advantageous.This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful and growing business, playing a key role in driving operational excellence and supporting continued growth. ..... full job details .....
