We are currently recruiting an outstanding

Distribution Centre Manager

to join and strengthen our highly experienced senior management team. As a Distribution Centre Manager, you will have the autonomy and responsibility for the day-to-day site management of your depot.Additionally, you will be accountable for:Achieving all depot objectives related to health and safety, security, productivity, transport, and costDelivering outstanding service to our customers with a team driven to excelProviding a safe and healthy environment for your teamEncouraging a competitive environment with clear productivity and service targetsManaging the depot''s PandL through effective planning and reportingQualifications

What we’re looking forExperience in logistics or distribution industry, managing large, fast-paced, 24/7 operations with a daily throughput of 25,000+ and a workforce over 250 employeesStrong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence strategy and liaise with directorsDecisive and effective decision-making skills in a high-pressure environmentA passion for building and motivating high-performing teamsProblem-solving skills, resilience, self-motivation, and flexibilityDemonstration of DPD core values: Passion, Respect, Honesty, Flexibility, Hard Work, and AccountabilityAvailability to work any 5 shifts including weekends, as our depots operate 365 days a yearFull UK driving license is essentialAdditional Information
