Disrepair Surveyor

Elevate projects are working in partnership with our client, a registered social landlord committed to providing safe, quality homes for tenants, to appoint an interim-Disrepair Surveyor and help improve homes and communities within Wiltshire.-

As a Disrepair Surveyor, you will:

• Conduct thorough property inspections to identify disrepair issues.
• Prepare accurate reports detailing findings and recommendations.
• Liaise with tenants, contractors, and colleagues to resolve disrepair matters promptly and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with housing regulations, policies, and health & safety standards.
• Monitor ongoing repair projects, ensuring they meet agreed timelines and quality standards.

What We''re Looking For:

• Proven experience in disrepair surveying or a related field.
• A relevant qualification in surveying or construction (e.g., RICS or CIOB accreditation is advantageous).
• Strong knowledge of housing legislation and building standards.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to handle sensitive tenant concerns.
• A proactive approach with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Full driving license and access to a vehicle.
